award, to father and
son, seventeen years apart.

The Praman Patra is the highest civilian honour the Government of Punjab confers. It has been awarded to this company twice — once to the founder, once to his son.

Sardar Gurnam Singh, Chairman of Gurnam Singh & Company, was conferred the Praman Patra — Punjab State's highest award — by the Chief Secretary of Punjab, Sh. Tajinder Khanna, for excellence in tubewell engineering.

to his son

Sardar Gurdarshan Singh, Managing Director of Gurnam Singh & Company, was conferred the Praman Patra by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab, in recognition of exemplary service in his profession — seventeen years after his father received the same honour.
